Evan is a transactional lawyer and advisor with extensive experience in the entertainment, hospitality, and finance industries. He has represented major production companies, hospitality groups, venture capital funds, and a variety of startups.
Evan began his legal career at a large, international firm where his practice focused on commercial lending transactions and restructuring. In 2014, he transitioned into the entertainment industry, where he worked for production companies, studios, and television networks. Evan has negotiated all kinds of entertainment deals, including eight-figure talent agreements, complex financing & distribution deals, and high-volume production legal work.
In the hospitality space, Evan has helped launch and build multiple businesses, including private membership clubs and restaurants across Los Angeles.
Evan started Sypek Legal to deliver first-class legal and business services to his clients. He provides practical solutions to real world problems and helps clients achieve their goals in an efficient, cost-effective manner.
Evan received his Juris Doctorate from NYU School of Law in 2012. He graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice.
